In 2014, Z. V. Smahlii graduated from I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University.

From 2014 to 2016, Z. V. Smahlii studied at an internship in the specialty “Dermatovenereology” at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Skin and Venereological Dispensary.

In 2016, Z. V. Smahlii worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, Skin and Venereal Diseases.

In 2016-2018, she studied at the clinical residency at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Skin and Venereological Dispensary.

Since 2018, Z. V. Smahlii has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, Skin and Venereal Diseases.

On 16.12.2022, in the one-time specialized board DF 58.601.062 at Ternopil National Medical University, defended her PhD thesis on the topic “The role of skin damage in the systemic manifestations of skeletal trauma complicated by acute blood loss and the effectiveness of PRP therapy” in the specialty 222 “Medicine”.
