In 2009, L. P. Melnyk graduated I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University.

From 2009 to 2011, L. P. Melnyk studied at an internship in the specialty “Pulmonology and phthisiology” at the Department of Phthisiology and Pulmonology of Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University and the Ternopil Regional Anti-Tuberculosis Dispensary.

From 2011 to 2020, L. P. Melnyk worked as a district phthisiologist of the dispensary-polyclinic department of the Ternopil Regional Phthisiopulmonology Medical Centre of the Ternopil Regional Council.

During 2013-2017, she was a correspondence post-graduate student at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine and Phthisiology of Ternopil National Medical University.

In 2020, she qualified as a specialist in “Therapy” at Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University.

In 2023, L. P. Melnyk obtained the qualification of a specialist doctor in the specialty “Infectious Diseases” at Lviv National Medical University.

From October 5, 2020 until now, L. P. Melnyk has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, Skin and Venereal Diseases of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

On September 29, 2021, in the specialized academic board D 58.601.02 at Ternopil National Medical University, L. P. Melnyk defended her PhD in the topic “Clinical-pathogenetic aspects of the combination of Lyme borreliosis, tuberculosis and giardiasis” in specialty 14.01.13 – infectious diseases.

Her general work experience is 13 years with 3 years of teaching experience. The total number of printed papers is 51, including 23 in the last 5 years.
